Building Management System –IBMS

A Building Management System (BMS) is a computer-based control system installed in buildings that controls and monitors the building’s mechanical and electrical equipment such as HVAC, Lighting Control, fire systems, and security systems. A BMS consists of software and hardware; the software program to consume energy Management. Systems linked to a BMS typically represent 40% of a building’s energy Consumption. BMS brings Good control of internal comfort conditions, Effective monitoring and targeting of energy consumption.

Access Control & CCTV Surveillance

Security and access control systems can also be interoperated into a common communications infrastructure with vendors now producing an increasing volume of IP network ready solutions. Security control rooms can be linked direct to electronic surveillance devices over IP based networks and can be fully interoperated with access control and safety systems.

Fire Safety System

Fire alarm and detection systems is one life safety system can be interoperated with access control systems to provide alarms lists and locations of all individuals within a building at the time of an alarm. A fire alarm now can cause all secured exits to automatically open and result in an immediate visual indication on a PDA of where exactly in the building the alarm was triggered from.

Gas suppression System

With the use of inert gases and chemical agents to extinguish a fire. Fire Suppression Agents are governed by the NFPA Standard for Clean Agent Fire Extinguishing Systems – NFPA 2001 in the USA, with different standards and regulations in other parts of the world. The system typically consists of the agent, agent storage containers, agent release valves, fire detectors, fire detection system (wiring control panel, actuation signalling), agent delivery piping, and agent dispersion nozzles. Less typically, the agent may be delivered by means of solid propellant gas generators that produce either inert or chemically active gas.

Aspiration Smoke detection (ASD)

ASD design corrects shortcomings of conventional smoke detectors by using a sampling pipe with multiple holes.

ASD systems incorporate more than one level of alarm. This allows an ASD system to provide very early warning of an event, prompting investigation at the earliest smoldering stage of a fire when it is easily addressed. Other alarm levels may be configured to provide fire alarm inputs to fire systems as well as releasing suppression systems.

ASD alarm sensitivities are configurable and can be programmed to levels ranging from thousands of times more sensitive than a conventional detector, to much less sensitive. The detectors work best in non-volatile environments. They can also be used in computer cabinets to alert users to the overheating of computer cables or individual computer components.

Water Leak Detection System (WLDS)

The WLDS is designed to detect water leaks either at localized points using the WLD point sensor or larger areas with the WDL cable sensor. All these sensors are used with the WLD range of modules that are suitable for DIN-rail mounting inside Comfortable enclosure where leak detection is required. They are fitted as standard with LED indication of the water leak status, and notification can be generated via sounder that can be monitored through Fire Alarm System and BMS monitoring station.
